It has been a fantastic term for the girls rugby teams throughout the school. The players have shown great commitment to training throughout the cold winter months and are making real progress with all aspects of their game play. The U13 squad have done particularly well as it is the first season of competing due to Covid last year.
The u13's have been in commanding form in 2022, they have played 6 games so far this year and have worked hard to keep the opposition at bay and come away with 6 victories.
The u15s are also in a rich vein of form and also unbeaten. Their biggest achievement being beating Royal Latin in what proved to be a very tough and closely fought match. Our girls just had the greater desire to succeed.
The U18 girls have remained patient at a time when many of our opponents have pulled out of matches. They have also remained unbeaten to date with the highlight being a narrow victory against or friends at Dartford Grammar school.
All of the girls should be really proud of their achievements, we in the PE department are. We are looking forward to the remainder of the season and the 7's competitions.
Miss Bond.
