Mr D Bunjaku (Assistant Head of Year)

It is an honour and privilege to be leading such a talented and aspiring cohort of students through their second year at Robert Clack School. As already demonstrated, they are a true reflection of the ethos, values and BRAVE qualities we uphold as a School. The cohort has built strong foundations to continue to build upon this academic year, each member of the year group has shown commitment to academic achievement, enrichment activities, creativity, building positive relationships and developing moral awareness. I would like each member of year 8 continue to take advantage of the opportunities we provide, overcome challenges that will come their way, build resilience and cultivate relationships with peers and staff.  Our year 8 community will be fantastic role models for our new year 7 cohort and I look forward to them supporting the younger students throughout their transition into Secondary School.

I am excited to take this journey with our year 8 community and provide the support required for each student to flourish, as they endeavour to reach their full potential in all aspects of school life. I look forward to celebrating their success within their academic studies, enrichment activities and contributions to the wider community.

I wish the year 8's the very best of luck! I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents and guardians in advance for their support and I look forward to meeting you soon.

Lymington Fields

Ms K Whatmore (Head of Year)

It is with great excitement and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my warmest greetings to you as the new Head of Year 8 here at the Lymington Fields site. As we enter this second year of your child's education journey, I am thrilled to have the privilege of working collaboratively with you to foster an environment where your children can thrive, learn, and grow.

I firmly believe that the foundation laid in Year 7 is a solid base upon which your children will continue to build their academic prowess and character. My hope is that this year, they not only achieve academic excellence but also embrace qualities that will shape them into well-rounded individuals ready to face the challenges of the world beyond these school walls.

We will continue to encourage our young learners to embody our core values, which serve as pillars of character: to Behave with respect and empathy towards others, to be Responsible for their actions and choices, to uphold a positive Attitude that fosters growth and collaboration, to cultivate Virtuous traits that embody integrity and compassion, and to consistently invest maximum Effort in their endeavours. These values will guide them towards a path of self-discovery, resilience, and achievement.

Academically, I implore our students to channel their intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm. Let us together encourage them to be active participants in their education, fostering a love for learning that will remain with them throughout their lives. Furthermore, I invite and encourage each student to engage in the wide variety of extracurricular activities available to them. Whether in sports, arts, clubs, or community service, these experiences will not only enhance their skills but also provide them with opportunities for personal growth, leadership, and lasting friendships. The bonds formed through these activities will complement their academic achievements, making for a truly comprehensive education.

I am committed to ensuring your child's safety, well-being, and intellectual development. With your continued support and collaboration, we can guide them towards a year of achievement, personal growth, and meaningful experiences.

Wishing your children a year filled with exploration, accomplishment, and positive contributions to our school community.

Let us look ahead to a transformative and rewarding Year 8 together.
