Sports Premium Statement

Schools receive PE and Sports Premium funding based on the number of pupils in Years 1-6.

The premium must be used to fund additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport, for the benefit of primary-aged pupils, in the 2023 to 2024 academic year, to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.

Schools can use the premium to secure improvements in the following 5 areas;

  • Engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity.
  • Raise the profile of PE and Sport across the school.
  • Increase the confidence and knowledge of staff in PE and Sport.
  • Provide a broader range of sports and physical activities offered to pupils.
  • Increase participation in competitive sport.

At Robert Clack Primary we are committed to providing high quality PE for all pupils. We recognise that an outstanding PE curriculum and an extensive range of sporting opportunities and resources have an influence on outcomes across a number of areas of school life.
