Attendance

It is very important that your child is at school on time every day.

It is equally important for all children to attend school every day in order to be settled as well as to progress and reach their potential.

If your child is unwell and unable to attend school you must inform the school office before 10.00am.

If your child is late arriving to school please report to the school office so a member of staff can record your child’s arrival.

If you need to collect your child during the school day for an appointment please ensure that you provide proof of the appointment to the office staff and inform your child’s teacher that you will need to collect them early.

If your child becomes unwell or has a serious accident during the school day a member of staff will contact you and request that you collect your child. It is therefore essential that you provide us with up-to-date contact information.



Holidays / Extended leave

The Governors have adopted the Local Authority Zero Tolerance Attendance Policy which states that leave for holidays during term time will not be approved.
