Chemistry at A level aims to equip pupils with a core and fundamental understanding of the chemical processes, including, Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry. The subject develops from GCSE, aiming to explore the chemical principles that underpin not only the everyday lives of the students, but it also provides a taster into quantitative and qualitative experimentation.  A range of topics are covered, including atomic and electronic structure, moles of matter, structure and bonding. By the end of the course, pupils will be equipped as practical and theoretical chemists and ready to take their next steps in life.
