NEWS AND EVENTS
PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION
The Robert Clack Association is a group of friendly parents and school staff who get together once a month over tea and biscuits to help our children’s school raise extra school funds for the pupils.
We arrange raffles, quiz nights, dog stadium nights, table top sales, fun days and we attend each parents evening and school event to serve tea and coffee to the parents (you may have seen us!) All the money we raise goes directly to help with costs of school events such as trips, PE kits and anything else that will keep the cost down for our students – and parents!
We always welcome new members and would love to see you at our meetings. If you have an hour or so a month to spare, please call Jane Meaden on the main school phone number located at the bottom of the page.
The Robert Clack Association (RCA) was formed to raise funds for our school. Over the past few years it has raised thousands of pounds to buy additional resources and to support curriculum trips to places such as Indonesia, Honduras, Canada, Barbados, France and Poland.
Parents and teachers have worked together to put on a wide variety of fundraising events e.g. quiz nights, discos, fashion shows, grand draws and table top sales.
The committee meets every month and provides an informal yet valuable link with the school. The members attend events such as Parents Evenings, Presentation Evenings and New Intake Evenings so please feel free to come and talk to us to find out what the PTA is all about.
If you wish to find out more information about the excellent work carried out by the Parent Teacher Association or are interested in joining, please contact Margaret Hawkins ( The Chair ) on 07804216192.
